Character Education
Carroll Middle School promotes Character Education through focusing on the character trait for each month. At the end of each month a "Character Counts at Carroll" breakfast is celebrated. The PTA, administration, and Carroll's Business Alliance sponsor character breakfast jointly. Teachers recommend students who exhibit the character trait of the month for recognition at the breakfast.

Character Trait for November: Courage
Having the determination to do the right thing even when others don’t; the strength to follow your conscience rather than the crowd. Attempting difficult things that are worthwhile.
