Character Education
Carroll Middle School promotes Character Education through focusing on the character trait for each month. At the end of each month a "Character Counts at Carroll" breakfast is celebrated. The PTA, administration, and Carroll's Business Alliance sponsor character breakfast jointly. Teachers recommend students who exhibit the character trait of the month for recognition at the breakfast.

Character Trait for March: Perseverance
Being persistent in pursuit of worthy objectives in spite of difficulties, opposition, or discouragement. Exhibiting patience and having the fortitude to try again when confronted with delays, mistakes, or failures.
